Gabrielle Watson

Founder & Executive Director, The Help We Need Foundation

Young Professionals Board Member, Brighter Days (formerly Rainbow Days)

Rooted In Community. Driven by Purpose.

A proud Mesquite native and 2014 graduate of Dr. Ralph H. Poteet High School, Gabrielle grew up seeing the strength and resilience of local neighborhoods. She also saw how many families were struggling silently, unable to find or qualify for the help they needed. Driven by her love for the community that raised her, she founded The Help We Need Foundation so that every individual, regardless of zip code, has an inclusive opportunity to belong, contribute, and thrive.

Gabrielle has personally funded the foundation’s early operations so that grassroots programs like our Fresh Start Hygiene Kits and local advocacy clinics never stop delivering. She designed the foundation to be a flexible, mobile, and culturally accessible bridge that meets families exactly where they are and connects them to the resources and financial empowerment tools they need.

Gabrielle is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science at the University of North Texas at Dallas. She also serves on the Brighter Days (formerly Rainbow Days) Young Professionals Board, advocating for vulnerable youth across the region. The foundation’s work begins in Mesquite, but her vision reaches across North Texas and beyond, because when communities stand together, lasting change is always within reach.
